Cafe Verde

About  the Project and Execution

The offices at 225 West Wacker had a retail opportunity and decided to open a café, which we helped name "Café Verde," inspired by the beautiful green marble and interior design elements in the space. Located on the ground floor and open to the public, Café Verde is in the iconic Chicago River area, with 225 West Wacker being easily recognizable for its prime position along the river and within the city’s business district.

I designed the initial logo, extending the curve of the ‘r’ to mimic the bend of the Chicago River near the café’s location. The design aims to evoke fluidity, reflecting both the river's movement and the flow of coffee or tea you might enjoy at the counter.
